Eldralon - Terms of Use Agreement

This agreement outlines the rules and guidelines that govern your participation in the Eldralon World of Warcraft Classic private server. By registering, logging in, or using any service associated with Eldralon, you agree to follow the terms outlined below.

If you encounter a player violating these rules, please report them through the designated system.

I. Code of Conduct

The following rules ensure a fair and enjoyable experience for all players on Eldralon. These guidelines are not exhaustive, and Eldralon staff may take action on behavior that is deemed harmful to the community.

While using Eldralon, you will interact with players from various backgrounds. What may seem acceptable to you could be offensive to others. We expect all players to maintain respect toward one another.

Failure to follow these rules may result in penalties, including temporary or permanent suspension.

A. Naming Policy

When choosing a character name, guild name, or any other label visible to players, you must abide by the following restrictions. Any names violating these guidelines may be altered or removed, and offending players may face further action.

Prohibited Names Include:

  • Political, religious, or national references.
  • Racist, discriminatory, or offensive terms.
  • Vulgar, sexually explicit, or obscene language.
  • References to real-world hate groups or illegal activities.
  • Names that impersonate Eldralon staff members.

B. Player and Staff Interactions

Communication is a key part of the game. However, the following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Using offensive, racist, or inappropriate language.
  • Spamming, excessive advertising, or unsolicited messaging.
  • Scamming or defrauding other players.
  • Engaging in casino/gambling activities.
  • Impersonating Eldralon staff members.
  • Harassing or stalking other players.
  • Leaking personal information about other players or staff.

C. Gameplay Regulations

1. Player vs Player (PvP)

World PvP is a core part of Eldralon. Engaging in PvP, including corpse camping or ganking, is considered fair play. Protect yourself in contested zones and expect opposition from enemy factions.

2. Safespotting (PvP Exploits)

Safespotting is strictly prohibited and includes:

  • Attacking from locations that cannot be reached normally.
  • Exploiting NPC pathing to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Using terrain to attack enemies while remaining untouchable.

3. Battleground and World PvP Rules

  • Deliberate AFKing in battlegrounds to farm honor is prohibited.
  • Exploiting game mechanics to avoid PvP encounters is not allowed.
  • Same-faction griefing on world bosses is strictly forbidden.

D. Griefing & Disruptive Behavior

Griefing is discouraged, but some actions fall under legitimate gameplay. However, behavior that disrupts core aspects of the game will be penalized.

Examples of griefing that will be punished include:

  • Intentionally killing quest NPCs for extended periods.
  • Blocking access to critical game locations.
  • Interfering with another faction’s world boss engagement.
  • Summoning demons at starting zones to harass new players.

E. Forum & Community Guidelines

The Eldralon forums and Discord community should remain a friendly environment for discussion, game-related topics, and assistance.

  • Non-English posts may be removed.
  • Staff reserves the right to moderate, edit, or delete inappropriate discussions.
  • Harassment, trolling, or excessive flaming will not be tolerated.

II. Account Security & Management

A. Account Responsibility

Your account is your responsibility. Eldralon staff will not restore lost accounts due to negligence.
To secure your account:

  • Never share your login credentials.
  • Use a strong, unique password (16 characters max).
  • Only download official game files from trusted sources.
  • Do not use the same login details on multiple servers.

B. Account Sharing & Trading

  • Account sharing, selling, or trading is strictly prohibited.
  • Items, gold, and characters cannot be exchanged for real money.
  • Guild banks may be shared, but staff will not intervene in disputes regarding guild bank theft.

C. Forgotten Password

If you forget your password, use the automated recovery system. Eldralon staff does not manually recover lost accounts.

III. Character, Item & Currency Restoration

  • Character deletion is permanent – staff cannot restore deleted characters.
  • Lost items, gold, or experience will not be refunded unless caused by a confirmed server error.
  • The only exceptions for item restoration:
    • Quest items or keys may be restored if there is proof of prior acquisition.
    • Epic+ raid loot may be restored in the case of a rollback if clear video proof is provided.

IV. Cheating & Exploits

Eldralon has a zero-tolerance policy for cheating. The following will result in a permanent ban:

  • Using bots, hacks, or automation software.
  • Exploiting game bugs for unfair advantage.
  • Modifying game files (e.g., MPQ edits, executable changes).
  • Attempting to disrupt or attack Eldralon servers.
  • Using external software to manipulate gameplay.

V. Real Money Trading (RMT) & Multiboxing

  • Buying/selling accounts, gold, or items for real money is strictly forbidden.
  • Multiboxing is not allowed.
    • You may have two characters online in a city for auction house purposes.
    • More than three simultaneous connections will result in an immediate ban.

VI. Staff Assistance & Support

We understand that players may experience in-game issues. However, staff time is valuable, and abuse of the support system will not be tolerated.

A. In-Game Assistance

To submit a ticket:

  • Click the red question mark in the interface bar.
  • Provide clear details of the issue.
  • Do not submit multiple tickets for the same issue.

Requests that will NOT be processed:

  • Item or currency refunds.
  • Player or account ban requests.
  • General bug reports (use the bug tracker).
  • Requests unrelated to Eldralon.

B. Forum & Discord Support

All general support inquiries should be directed to the official forum or Discord. Staff may edit, delete, or move posts at their discretion.

VII. Sanctions & Penalties

Violations of these terms will result in sanctions ranging from warnings to permanent bans. Severity is at staff discretion.

A. Warnings (Minor Infractions)

  • Spamming
  • Offensive language
  • AFK in battlegrounds
  • Minor exploits
  • Excessive trolling

B. Temporary Account Restrictions (Moderate Infractions)

  • Scamming
  • Repeatedly lying to staff
  • Abuse of PvP mechanics
  • Griefing in world PvP events

C. Permanent Ban (Major Infractions)

  • Hacking, botting, or using automation tools
  • Selling accounts, gold, or items for real money
  • Attempting to DDoS or disrupt Eldralon services
  • Impersonating a staff member
  • Exploiting major game-breaking bugs

VIII. Final Notes

Eldralon staff reserves the right to modify this agreement at any time. Continued use of the server constitutes acceptance of the latest Terms of Use.

By playing on Eldralon, you acknowledge that:

  1. Staff decisions are final.
  2. Breaking rules can result in penalties, up to a permanent ban.
  3. This is a private server, and we do not owe any obligation to restore lost progress.

Eldralon reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to increase a sanction, suspend or terminate your use of the service at any time, for any reason or for no reason, with or without prior notice to you.
